I think I’ll like this one. Her writing grew on me in foster.

Getting into the flow of the book now but did not much enjoy it initially. Felt too stretched out to make every sentence poetic, essays on things that seemed pointless to me. There was something striking every few pages but was struggling to continue reading. Connecting with the book and the narrative a lot more now :)

I’m not a fan of historical fiction because they tend to have years and dates that become confusing and hard to keep track of and references that I may not understand but I’m finding this really really easy to read. Perhaps because it’s a direct emotional connect was easily established. Have a really good feeling about this <3

Way too many parallels with my relationship with my mother

I’m flying through it! Can’t say I’ve ever read a book narrated by a ghost. I’m very intrigued about where this is going and how it’ll end.
