I feel a little awkward that I read ~500 pages of 1637: No Peace Beyond the Line today, and didn't even touch Rhythm of War (at least yet, maybe I'll at least finish part 1 and the first interlude before bed).

There, 1/5th done, and just after midnight. Things are falling apart for Kaladin only slightly more than usual. Perfect place to stop.

making good progress, but I need to pace myself; also really glad I started 1637: no peace beyond the line today, it's providing a nice change of pace when I start getting a little... too into RoW

here I was going about my daily life, not even realizing how much I needed a Cosmere novella centered around The Lopen, and now I wonder how I ever could live without it ;)

Sadly, at this point there's no way I'm going to be able to reread Oathbringer before Rhythm of War comes out (I hope I can remember enough from Oathbringer to make sense of everything...;) it's a weird problem because I read Way of Kings like 3 times before Words of Radiance came out (at least) and the latter at least twice (and maybe three times) before Oathbringer, but somehow, I never got back to the big O...

Yeah, I feel a little bad for voting for Rhythm of War for best fantasy book of the year when it isn't out yet, but hey, I'm doing what I can, I've got it preordered and I took the release week off from work. Honestly, though, there's just no chance that Brandon hasn't written the best fantasy book of the year... it's not even plausible. :)
