So far FoV has been a non-stop thrill ride, but that's also the only problem I have with, the first book had a ton of action, but there were time gaps and down-times so that things weren't always all happening at once, but I suppose part of the plot here is pushing Tau to his breaking point

There's a moment right near the end of The Bridge on the River Kwai" where Alec Guinness's character realizes he's aided the enemy by mistaking the means for the end and blurts out "What have I done?" in cold horror. Yeah... I think Navani knows the feeling...

It suddenly occurs to me that Dalinar hasn't been in the book for like 200 pages... not since he received Kaladin's message, hmmm... Dalinar isn't the type to sit on his hands; what have you been up to Dalinar?

I kinda suspected that was going to happen, and I always wondered that about the recreance, but still, that chapter was a plot bombshell, and HEY! Less than 200 pages to go!

"Say 'Buttress,' it's my favorite word!" There's not been NEARLY enough Lift in this book!

Sweet, finally (legitimately) got up to my (as of this point) favorite chapter, just Wit and Kaladin and a story about a dog and a dragon.

I love it when chapter breaks coincide with nice round numbers

Not much progress today... apart from jumping forward 50 pages and reading the next Kalidan chapter... it's not MY fault he left Kalidan in that spot... and hey, Design says it's cool :) Plus, now I've got a great chapter to look forward to!

Part 3/3rd Interlude Complete... and I'm ~2/3rds through the book!

Yeah, so I only read 50 pages today. Partly that's just the reality of being back at work after having the last 6 days off while I was on staycation, but honestly, I needed to back off a bit, I was obsessing over the book last night and had trouble sleeping, so, gotta step back a little, remember that it's just a story, it doesn't matter... much...
