Fourth time through. So far enjoying it. Pieces are coming back as I read it and are making me think of myself and my own journey.

Really enjoying the pace of the book. Enjoy the writing style and would definitely try other titles by this author as it is a fun witchy escape read for me

Witches are the threat to capitalism. Had a journal through this reading. Feel really connected in my own journey.

Progressing nicely.

It’s good. A pretty easy read. Learned about the authors version of Benandanti. Looked it up and it was a cult of fertility back in the 16 and 17 century that transformed into Italian witchcraft during their inquisition.

So far it’s an easy read. Not hard to get into the flow like King’s writing was for me. I’m liking the characters so far. Curious after the prologue and meeting who I am guessing is the 6th witch.

See journal entry from today. Love how king write about Scott finding the plot of the story as he told it.

I’m at a part where the main character Lissy is talking about her grief, it’s powerful for me right now too. Losing my mom I’m so full of grief and sadness. And in the story, she’s two years past losing her husband and it is not the same grief. It’s made me think oh my God, Jaqi, and Patrick the early years and how that is gonna hurt and hopefully you know 30 years when we start to die 30+. Anyway lol

Had been a great read. Goes much further into details than the mini series and having watched it a year ago, it seems very close to the book. Which doesn’t happen often

This book has been tough but great. My first Stephen King novel and he writes very differently than most authors. 169 pages in and I’m able to flow with it better. It’s funny because he writes like I think, in this book anyways. Which has helped with the flow.
In talking to Patrick about his writing, this seems to be his style. Glad I kept with it 🤓

Wow. That was intense. Had to keep reading until finding out what happened to Samara. Felt something coming but not that.

I’m so into it, I have a hard time putting it down. Still so curious

Awesome. Hard to read about her constant sexual assaults, and killing whales. I believe Nicky and Dom are one, but how? Who are Jen’s, Leo and Samara? Ghosts? Human hostages? Victims?
