Got to part 3 today. It’s titled everything must go. Everybody is killing each other. It’s been a blood bath. Gaunt is old, plague time old. Sells things, weapons with hate, revenge all mixed in. Perhaps he is death, or war. Like the horseman of war in supernatural. That’s kinda what he reminds me of.

I’m so curious what will happen. I can see how things could be resolved now lol I don’t think gaunt is a Ginn. He’s something supernatural, and that list is huge 🫣 lol 😆

It’s intense and also addicting. I just want to read it to find out what is going to happen. I wonder if they destroy the items if it breaks the spell? I wonder if Gaunt is a Ginn, and the towns folk are all asleep under his trance, and it would have to be them all because of the sheriff’s role… I think lol

Now I’m wondering if Mr gaunt is a Ginn??

Well the killing has begun… I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it lol I initially felt like I didn’t want to read it. I hate people on people violence, it’s too real. I prefer supernatural stuff because of that. I am enjoying it though

Had an epiphany during today’s read 🥰 journaled about it and am grateful for the moment, the realization, the guidance and love I felt from it.

It’s good. That Wilma woman, my god! I know there are people like her out there but that is just so fucking sad to me. I’m curious where the story is going. It’s easy to see the manipulation from afar.

Really enjoying this book. Not sure if it’s because I’m reading mom’s copy of it or if I’m actually a Stephen King fan…

I’m enjoying reading this. He writes from the characters perspective, but also narrative. It’s like submersive narrative lol it’s third person, but from the main character’s view and using their language. He did it in Lissy’s story, which was why it was hard but then so easy for me. I think I may really like King, he’s showing me there are no writing rules ✍️😁

It’s been great. Lots of journaling over the weekend while reading 🤓

So far I’ve been journaling about this one. It’s from a Jewish perspective, well kind of. And it is helping build compassion and love.

Really enjoying it. Making connections to a book about the plague that was based in that timeline. Some crossover mentions which is cool. This book was my introduction to the divine goddess. I’ve always joked that god was a woman, well here it is.

I’ve made some connections to current events that have really made me go hmm 🤔 we are living in modern day witch trials. The fear Christians have of the different beliefs, other than Jewish, seems to be increasing. Or I’m seeing it for what it is now. Muslims and Siks are examples of this and then genocide occurring in their home countries.

Have found a few highlighted parts and added one in today. In pencil today, but added to it. I love finding highlights or notes in books. These are mine but it’s a bit cooler when you find one from someone else. What were their thoughts if it’s highlighted? Why did this part stand out? So many questions pop up lol it’s like a form of magic, I think. Even finding my own. Especially finding my own 💗
