Vee is just annoying and 17 is not young enough to excuse her behavior, her redeeming qualities are never shown just stated by Minerva. As i fully expect her to get her own book i sure hope she sops being such a pain in the ass.

As much as I love this book the timeline is out 2 weeks and that bugs me

In a world where cannibals are suffering from scurvy because it is seen as weak to eat fruits and vegetables because you didn’t have to fight for a meal not only would they not accept a magic hat that creates food they would see it as a massive insult.

The female characters in this book bother me not only because for the most part women are painted with a mix of whoredom, lack of conscience and ruiner of all things that are good, but because within this the men who we are meant to cheer for become pathetic for what they have put up with. if we are to believe that not all women in this world are like this (and there are maybe 2 minor characters that give me hope).

Just when I felt like I couldn’t love this series more she give me totally spies. <3

as cute as the meet cute is, i feel it is unbelievable. In what world does a bakery special for 1 person be identical to a cake for a children's birthday party. Add the emphasis that is put on him being Asian which just felt a tad off (although maybe this is a cultural thing that i just don't get) and i am feeling like this one may be a miss.

Time for an epic re-read in anticipation of the 2 new books the year !!!!

this book is truly an example of you really can have too much of a good thing if it had only finished here it would be a 5 Star book but alas endings matter

God these characters are irritating, but the writing is so good and was expecting this looking forward to them growing.

Love the romance in this but even as a “feminist” this book can be preachy
