Harry Potters goal in this book is to figure out what is petrifying people in the school. The first complication that happens is that Harry, is found right beside a bloody writing on the wall which makes people believe he's evil. The next one is when students start to get petrifyed by an unknown force. then Hermione figures out what causes it but is also petrified. then the last message appears and jenny goes missing

5 details I have noticed so far while reading this book that i think are going to drastically effect the story are; Harry getting locked up by the Dursleys, Fred George and Ron coming to save harry using a flying car, Mrs Weasley teaching harry how to use flu-powder, Harry teleporting and seeing the Malfoys, and Jenny getting to go to Hogwarts during this school year.

A significant moment in the book is when Max is trying to transform back into his magical form, but ends up agrueing with his mom abut him being trans. His mother doesn't believe him and still calls him by his dead name, this makes Max mad. what really ticks off Max is when his mother brings in his friends saying they are a bad influence on him. Max realizes that his mother isn't good, and starts to isolate himself.

Magical boy is a Graphic Novel. It goes in a chronological order starting from Max's birthday, when he wakes up and finds a dress that his mother picked out for him.

If I was in this book, I would be a sidekick or partner in crime to Max the main character. I believe this because max and I share lots of qualities, and views. I also think I would help him learn and control his new powers better than his mother.

I believe that Professor McGonagall is a mother figure to Hermione Ron and Harry. I think this because she is there when they need her, and she runs their house (Gryffindor) while teaching them in class and outside of class. McGonagall is mostly a mother figure in my eyes by how she reacts and helps our group of protags, but she could also classify as a mentor or caregiver.

Hermione Granger is mostly motivated by her love of learning, but by the end I can see that she is also motivated by loyalty. I know she is motivated by learning because of how much she doesn't want to get in trouble and how she's got straight A's in her classes. by the end though Hermione sees Harry and Ron as her best friends, and she saves and helps them throughout the book more and more.

this book has more of a Sarcastic and mischievous tone to it. I think this because of how the Characters deal with the different challenges on the 3rd floor. When the kids got thrown into the room with the growing vines, Ron starts screaming and struggling while Hermione is in the corner looking absolutely done, then gets all of them out. Ron still doesn't seem to like the fact, he was out witted by growing vines.

The ghost Cadet is a flat character while Min is a round character. The Cadet is a flat character because all we know about him is that he wants to know more about who killed him. While Min wants to find her brother, but is also stuck on a ship pretending to be the Ghost Cadet so she doesn't get in trouble.

I believe that Min's Aunt is an unsympathetic character. I think this because of how she acts; manipulating Min by bringing in her mother and how she left her, how she practically forces Min to work for her. Min's aunt is (in my opinion) one of the most unsympathetic characters in the book so far.

The Dragon pearl is a character driven story. I know this because Min (a fox spirit) wants to find her brother, who was reported as a deserter in the space forces, but is dragged into her aunt's cassino, then onto a spaceship and learns about how to fly but is then attacked, then she is thrown into pretending to be a dead space cadet while his ghost tells her how to do things so he can find out who killed him.

Some Questions I asked myself while reading (and some answers). "Why did she almost immediately trust her aunt?" Probably because Min smelt her kin or family's scent off of her aunt's charm. "Was it really a good idea to tell Captain Hyes crew the white lie?" I think so because most of it was true except for the part of her getting to go with the crew, she did tell them that Hye was kidnapped.

I think, from the passage on the back and the cover, that the book will be about Min joining the space force. from the cover I think she'll have a wolf, or fox spirit thingy following her around. So I believe Min will join the space forces and have a spirit following her or guiding her.

the chaos curse is a 1st person perspective story. I know this because kiranmala is the only character we can see the thoughts of and because it uses the pronouns "I". A quote that supports this is '"Mother, I don't know what's going on with these story threads getting tangled." I pointed to the pile of glowing threads still at her feet, and the salad spinner still spitting out string."

The Protagonist is Kiranmala while the antagonist is her snake king father Sasha. I know this because Kiranmala is trying to stop her father from combining all the stories and universes together. which would ruin the chaos and diversity that makes the universe whole.

The main Conflict that I can identify is that Prince Lal is stuck in a tree because a spirit trapped him there, and that the Serpent king is trying to kill Kiranmala; while all around them their reality flickers and changes to different ones and different stories. these ideas i have picked up helped me decide that this book is based on Character v.s. Fate.

This story brings in Hindu myths, some alchemy, and lots of demons, creatures and magic. Kiranmala will have to fight her way through the kingdoms beyond with her friends, to help save the people and creatures there.

3 character traits of Kiranmala are loyalty, defiance, and bravery. Loyalty because even though her friend told her to not come and save him, she still went to get him. Defiance because she fought her own father the snake king to get her friend back. Bravery because she's fought demons snakes and so many more creatures.

I believe that this book is a Linear and descriptive Narrative. I think this because of how almost straight forward the story is, Kiranmala basically goes through the story step by step. This story is a Descriptive narrative because of how she describes the scenery the people and the monsters, for example "The demoness had a tongue as forked as a snake with eyes like a lizard, and skin as red as a blooming rose."

If I got to ask Montag 3 questions I would ask, are you going to the next city for? Another question I would ask is how long he'd be on the run for? Where and how will he meet up with Faber and if he's going to look for Clarisse.

I found a wall emotionally and physical for Ben. This wall is when his friend wants to impress a girl but in return he grabs a missal from Ben and Ben yells at him making him more mad. And they sort of blew up the princeble's office, and he pretty sure Bens in trouble now even if it isn't his fault, creating the wall of emotion for Ben because he doesn't want to be a bad friend but he also want to stay in the school.

It says in the beginning that "there are bad guys after you, and we need to stop them before they blow a building up and start to wreak havoc on the city." And I think that sums up the conflict pretty well, because it is the literal conflict.
