Page 56 and I'm so bored. Nothing is happening. Whiney adult that acts like a child and an elderly woman that grocery shops at night. There ya go. The first 56 pages summarized. Will likely DNF this one.

Huge fan of hers. I love Mary Oliver's poetry, and Renkl's writing comes close! Great essays about nature. She does articles for New York Times if you want to read her stuff there too. Quite lovely. ❤️🐦‍⬛

Very "cute" book but it's a romance so far and I hate that. Putting it down. I'm sure others love this as it's written super cute with good characters but just not for me.

The book starts with the main character opening her eyes from sleep, which is usually a BAD sign. I'm 30 pages in and not much has happened... Let's give it 20 more before I DNF it ...

Goodness this series is so fantastic. Is this the best book of it yet? Loving every word as usual.

Nothing has happened in 26 pages. I will have to reshelve this one for a time when I have much more patience. (not today!)

Trying a cozy fantasy. I like her Nettle and Bone book and thought I'd try this one for fun. Very cute characters so far and such a fun voice. It's a good read for a day sick in bed!

While I am not sold on the premise of this book so far, I will say that NO OTHER AUTHOR gets what it's like to be a parent in the way that McAllister gets it 🩷

I LOVED her last book Wrong Place Wrong Time. Hoping this will be equally wonderful 🩷📚 so far so good

This book is off the bloody wall. Idk wtf is even happening. It's the weirdest, most twisted thing this woman has written, that's for damn sure 😳😳😳😳😳

I feel like this book is taking me forever to read but that's not because it's slow-it's actually very good- I just have no attention span!
