DNF pile for this one. So little has happened and I'm half done. 😭

Finding myself agreeing with the reviews. This is poorly written to the point of distraction. I don't need pure elegance in a book, but one free of continuous sentence fragments would be lovely. Likely DNF'ing this one .

Warning 🚨 this is not a book you can burn through fast! It is dense! Lots happens and it is not dull or plodding, but just know that this one is gonna take some time!

I love that SO much has happened in the first 109 pages!

Good characters but moves at the speed of molasses. I'm a picky reader always in search of a quick pace. Good writing and interesting things have happened, but I'm putting it back on the WTR shelf and maybe I'll come back to it when I have more patience someday!

This books probably could have been a short story. Too romance-y, not enough haunting! But I'll continue. Curious to see what happens with the ghost.
