Alzheimer’s disease sucks !

My answer would be my grandfather without hesitation.

Just finished the first chapter “the lovers”, the main theme was regret, and the human desire to amend the past, even when outcomes cannot be altered.

Really liking it so far, the melancholy tone, the unspoken words can only make me reflective.

Chapter 13 just wrecked me. The grief just beautifully captured and well written, felt every emotion. This is grown adults mature stuff

Evelyn Hugo was a COMPLEX character I was not expecting to cry this much because most of her actions pissed me off
