So far, I do not find this book compelling. Much of it is saying basic things about the nature of the church followed by unsubstantiated illogical sharp turns.

Many times the conclusion does not follow the premise and I find myself saying and annotating, “Says who?” in the margins. For example, page 94 he calls politics and businesses secular distractions from the mission of the church. Says who? On what basis?
