Jurjen is 75% done with Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2)

Imo a bit slowly paced at the beginning (certainly compared to the breakneck pace of book 1), but it has absolutely picked up when they get to the capitol and meet the other victors.

Probs gonna finish slightly behind book 1, which surprises me with how much I love the movie Catching Fire. I guess i liked book 1 just that much

As someone who really doesn't care much about action scenes, "The Circle" is one of the best fights i have ever read. It is a fantastic mix between character work and action. Chef's kiss. Everyone read The First Law.

Home stretch

120 pages of Wheel of Time in a day is probs the most i have read of wheel of time in a single day. It was that, or the time I felt the need to finish the last 100 pages of Crown of Swords in one sitting.

Why did I do that

The ending wasn't noteworthy at all

It was like a random autumn break

Anyway, pretty solid Wheel of Time entry. Comfortably a top 5 WoT book.
