Definitely a book with 'fun' as the operative word, and you can tell the author had fun writing it.

Sometimes I have to wonder how some writers think up the types of things they do.

More layers keep being added to the story. Like a cake! A delicious, blood-covered and gory cake. But there is definitely frosting on the horizon.

Robert McCammon's ability as a horror writer certainly shows once in a while. Take me being engrossed in this novel, add my dog suddenly barking at trick or treater noises, and you get me jumping out of my skin

Turns out, this ended up being a fitting Halloween reading choice.

Wow. A very, VERY different type of book than Boy's Life. Robert McCammon is fantastic, though.

I find myself constantly checking how much of the book I have left to read. Not a good sign for any book.
