This is one of the worst novels I've read in a long time.Shallow, quite artificial.Just a series of events casting doubts on who the killer might be,very tireing after the first 100 pages or so.
Nevertheless Mimi Latt is able to stimulate a slight interest in the reader, at least some readers, of whom the murderer might be. That's probably why I'm still reading it, although not with much pleasure. 1. 5 stars max.

I'm going through a period of re-reading some of my favorite books and authors. It's amazing how taking up a book after generally a long time one can discover new meanings , insights and sensations Sometimes it feels like I'm reading the book for the first time!
I'm enjoying my ' new-old ' books.

It is always time well spent re-reading your favorite books after a few years. I won't go into the reasons for doing this which I am sure are well known by most of the readers in Goodreads.
