Juan Carlos is on page 279 of 534 of Degree of Guilt (Christopher Paget, #2)
About to begin Part Four: THE PROSECUTION.
I'm making slow progress with this one. Not the Best PATTERSON I've read but it's OK. I'd rate it 3 stars so far.

Juan Carlos is on page 151 of 255 of Confesiones de un inquisidor: Memorias de César Hildebrandt en diálogo con Rebeca Diz Rey
Very interesting review of Peru's turbulent political, social, and economic situation , especially during the last 50 years. Also of interest, biographical information regarding one of Peru's most renowed journalists, Cesar Hildebrandt.

Muy interesante la lectura de este libro. Estoy por la mitad pero ya puedo decir que está entre los mejores libros que he leído en lo que va del 2021.

A great book! I can say that even though I'm halfway through it's among the best
that I've read so far in these first nine months of 2021.

On page 243, of my copy, which marks the end of the FIAT LUX era and the beginning of FIAT VOLUNTAS TUA. Generations of light now after generations of darkness? Will man really learn anything in order to live peacefully? To overcome or control his irrationality and stupidity in spite of his reason? Will the human species survive? Let's see what the next 95 pages have in store.

The story is ok although not as good as other Richard Patterson novels I've read, according to my taste of course.
My progress with this novel is quite slow due to continuous interruptions I'm having and making with my reading. After two weeks I'm only 36% done. I expect this situation to change favorably ,i.e. more pages read, in the coming days.

I'm very much enjoying this novel. It's been some years since I last read MAUGHAM ( Of Human Bondage ) a novel which I accorded four stars to if I recall well. This novel is headed for the same rating.
