Why do people online think this is a thriller? It's clearly not and I don't see the publisher promoting it that way... (still enjoying it though!)

Finally got a bit more interesting when it was not basically reusing facts from the Golden State Killer (I might also be bias because I went through a phase of deep dive into this case)

Really enjoying it so far, the writing is relentless!

I need to rewatch Face Off after that hilarious analysis-don’t think I can ever take it seriously again 🤣

It's now the month when my apartment hits it's peak summer temperature... maybe that's why I'm reading all these horror novels (to send chills through my core).

This novel has some of the most chilling scares.
(In comparable cinema language, not a jump-scare, but simply a fixed shot, no dramatic music, and the unnatural thing just unfolds right in front of you.)
