A great book for fans of Sherlock Holmes AND Steampunk AND Newburry and Hobbes

Not sure how it will end. This will be the last book I will finish in 2013 :-)

Finished the firs book. Amelia Peabody is a prodigious character.

This is near future. Good stuff. Will finish it in one day.

I like the series a lot, especially the character development.

There is more behind he story as one think at first sight. Splendid descriptions of fights and landscape and a character torn between two worlds.

Such a great mix of steampunk, supernatural and murder mystery.

My second Pyke adventure and it is good to see that he is developing
