I love the series ....

Halfway through. Some of the characters act predictable. .

I like the comnination of WW I and Dr Watson. Sherlock Holmes even not named often is present in the background. Very well executed.

Back the book after along break without a problem. That also means back to the world of epic fantasy..

Normally I do not start with the fourth book of series. This is an exception because I got a cheap copy. So far an amazing read. Excellent atmosphere. interesting characters and a captivating story

I rate "Floating Gold" with five stars. Convincing and entertaining story.

I finished "Floating Gold" which is the first book in the trilogy

Compared to Master & Commander it delivers less sailing details BUT it is as entertaining.

I have been warned that there will be a lot of sailing details and I have to use a dictiionary quite a lot BUT beside that it is as good as promised. I like it a lot

Well crafted. The more I read the more I want to know about the world and the characers.
