I have got to start finishing books within a week of starting them I’ve been so inconsistent.. anyway I think if I read this faster I would’ve enjoyed it more, I just wasn’t as infested as I could have been — love how he ended up w Alli <3 didn’t like how he used his golf name to get his book published but I get why he did it; concept was more interesting than the book itself but it was still fun

Wow I’ve had this on my tbr since may 2020 and I’m finally reading it; I remember watching Ariel’s channel and her description of this book seemed really interesting; weirdly I don’t read books with cool premises that often because the better the premise the more disappointing it (usually) is; willing to give this a try though 😼; could go either way

was this really short or did I read it really fast; this was probably one of the most Wattpad books I’ve ever read I’m like 99% sure this was originally on Wattpad then published after .. minimal editing; it definitely had its moments but overall it’s pretty meh; messier than IHOS duology; just goes to show that chandler ainsley has horrible taste (no offense , just compared to mine); need reliable recs :(

I actually can’t with the default cover for this I’d die carrying it around in public had to change it; anyway I REALLY wanted to read something related to hockey so once I saw it in the description I was like .. immediately yes 👀 ; probably not wall of Winnipeg material but according to trusted reviews it should be at least a 3.5 star read

Tbh I can’t really tell if this was better than IHOS; the thing I said about enjoying the character dynamic kind of stopped applying since they somehow lost their personalities 25% in and just became .. 😈 or romantically frustrated? Towards the end I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of ANGST; overall I think Tessa Bailey is a bad writer lol but cute story fun but not … high quality 😬

Anytime there’s a duology / triology with connecting mcs (brown sisters + kiss quotient !!) I am THERE also I’m more into this character/couple dynamic than the happened one summer dynamic but we’ll see how good the execution is 😼😼 it all dependsss

Ngl Brendan was kinda … 😳 at times; there was literally nothing special about this and it was almost exactly what I expected except a little better since it’s Tessa Bailey and her other book is .. questionable; I’m semi-invested in the Fox and Hannah storyline; I’d say this was a 3.25 star read, pretty predictable, enjoyable, also forgettable; would consider reading her stuff in the future

Middle was pretty exciting end was dry overall a very 3 star read wish we read atonement instead but I’m still satisfied
