Lol this shit is taking me so long to read

I need to remember to listen to audiobooks while I’m doing something else because when I was listening on the bus I couldn’t stop my thoughts from wandering 🥴🥴 anyway the first 50% was kind of bad but 50-80% was decent; I was thinking about giving this 2 stars but I guess the last half was good enough to keep it a 3; this was overall very forgettable though, bottom of ranking

None of the characters feel real they’re sort of cartoonish; especially Taryn ? Also side note it was so out of character for Jude to like Locke so easily; what a rizzler 😮‍💨😮‍💨 even though the writing ain’t it (giving middle school) the plot has me in a chokehold ngl 🥲 sooo imma have to give it 4 stars

:( was rooting for the romance but they went straight back to being enemies at the end im sad; lowkey I’d give this a 3 because I don’t think the writing is that good but the plot had me engaged to the point where I think have to give it a 4 😬 wish I could give my first 4 star in 6 months to a better book but what happens happens; I think what bothers me the most about this is the .. shallow characterization

Noa's death was so sad :(( lowkey worst and best part of the book but ig we all saw it coming right bro was living that life of deception; the way I've been reading this book for over a year lol but I'm glad I finished it because I feel like it's the type of story I'd remember for a long time; I'm definitely coming back to the highlights I made bc there were some banger linesss

Miles did Tate so DIRTY when he said Rachel’s name while they were .. I was in shock; at the end I was hoping she wouldn’t take him back but she did so 😐; this was def better than confess and really 🌶🌶 but the scenes was kinda :/ Tate lowk the biggest simp ever; also the way two side characters were named Brad and Chad ?? So many names out there and that’s what CH chose 🤨; 3.25/5

As much as I’m talking shit about this book I still enjoyed it because of the genre 🙄 I have to say the entire book felt so .. superfluous? Most of the events were so dramatic and unrealistic that it made me kinda :// it took away from the escapism and usually I find it very easy to get super invested in a romance; side note the pining was not done very well; enjoyed this, but less than most romance I’ve read

@ Lauren also said the main character is an upgrade (she’s not, she’s just a more outspoken version of Olive and they have very similar internal monologues); I have to say the love interest is better than Adam but not written or characterized better just .. has a personality that I enjoy more; secondary characters were the same amount of unbelievable/too quirky/just overall really extreme

Ok so @ lauren said that things wrong with the love hypothesis included a “clueless main character, bad best friend, and lack of grounding” as if LOTB literally had all of the same issues lol; e.g. all the signs were there that Levi was in love with her, Rocio was really annoying and overly quirky (just like Olive’s bff in Love Hypothesis?), and the whole sabotage moment with Guy was … ridiculous 🤨

@ that one book reviewer named Lauren it’s crazy how you managed to convince me to read this expecting everything and receiving nothing I had no idea taste could diverge this much like I actually disagree with everything you said but no matter ;) anyway LOTB had so many flaws but since it’s a romance I liked it anyway lol; I think I liked love hypothesis a little bit more? anyway many thoughts
