is it just me or is social media's standards for books deteriorating? 2021 hype books were like cruel prince, project Hail Mary, arc of scythe, AGGTM, and other masterpieces.

and now it's books like icebreaker and colleen hoover that's dominating.

I feel like these past couple years, the trend has been to glorify smut on social media and it's just so frustrating!!
