Amazing only a third of the way through the Prologue. Already, this has been more eventful than all of Crossroads of Twilight. It’s bittersweet to be starting the last Robert Jordan written Wheel of Time book but I’m excited to finally finish the series this year after starting it January 2021.

That was… pretty amazing. Very unique writing and I love the prose.

This year I will be reading the Cradles series in between Sanderson’s Secret Projects. Since SP#1 physical copy is delayed a bit I decided to bump up starting Unsouled. Given how short these books seem, I should be able to finish it before SP#1 shows up in the mail. I feel this will be a good palette cleanser for the darker Malazan.

Last year I read the entire catalogue of John Gwynne and loved it all. This year it’s Brian McClellan’s turn! I plan to read both Powder Mage trilogies and the short stories/novellas. If I have time I may read his new book too or wait until next year if it. I’m excited to read a Sanderson protégé’s book!

Here we go, starting Malazan at last! This year I should get through the first five and then finish the back half next year. I am already pumped for this and intrigued after just reading the Prologue and first chapter.

New Spring is the book I didn’t know I needed… wow! What a past couple of chapters! This will lead me nicely into Knife of Dreams next week after the slog that was Crossroads of Slumber…

End of Part Two and only 90 pages left. It’s been one heck of a book and series for sure to have a thrilling conclusion. My goal is to finish these last three books I’m reading before year end so I can start 3 brand new series and the next WoT in the first week of January!

End of Part Four, coming down the stretch! Honestly have no idea how this will end… it’s wonderful!
