Here we go! Apparently, this is when things really start picking up. Still waiting for my Tress of the Emerald Sea hard copy to arrive…

Still loving this and the faster pace and quicker POV changes. Honestly can’t tell much difference still but also haven’t had a Mat chapter yet.

Finished Book Two: Whirlwind. This book just keeps getting better and better. It’s much darker overall but also tighter written. I enjoy the pacing and characters as well as the choice to view a lot of battles and aftermath through a historian’s eyes. So many juicy nuggets of new information too, constantly!

Wow… what a prologue… honestly I can’t sense too much of a difference in the switch to Sanderson. I know RJ had some parts already written for the final books but so far so good. An action packed shorter Prologue has my appetite wetted and ready!

Finished Book One: Raraku. Yeah, this is definitely a different book. Better written in that it isn’t as disjointed feeling in terms of the plot. There’s a clear direction and plot progression. Also much darker tone. Loving every minute of it!
