The book has definitely picked up the pace and my interest. The premise was pretty weak at first and it took too long to get to the fun parts but now it’s rolling. Hoping for a thrilling conclusion!

End of Day Eight. I just… have no words for how amazing this has been… new revelations upon new revelations… I almost don’t want it to end… but I must know…

Here we go… the end of the saga! The last book ended on such a strong note that I am amped up to get into this. I’m confident Philip will end it well.

End of Day Seven… wowowowowowowowow… every Day’s last chapter feels like a mini-Sanderlanche of some huge revelation or another. Some major bombs dropped here… Love it all!

End of Book II - The Land. This book seems to be the tightest of ICE’s early novels so far. The pacing is consistent but it doesn’t feel as jarring as Night of Knives or as overpacked with different PoV as RotCG. Hoping for a strong end!

After the fantastic Dead Beat, I’m putting Dresden on hold for a second. I will be peppering in some indie urban fantasy in between Dresden books.

Interesting premise so far, albeit a little slow to start. I’m really going in blind here as I continue my urban fantasy stretch!
