Wow, really loving the start of this book. Lot of worldbuilding initially reminiscent of Wheel of Time. Also love the author’s decision to hold back one of the POVs until a big reveal happened, felt very organic. Going to love this series, I can tell. Also, I hate Fritz.

Back at it again with Dresden, what an opening set of chapters! Very intriguing setup with a unique serial killer and everything I could ask for in. Dresden detective style novel.

Interesting start to the penultimate book in the Novels of the Malazan Empire series. Seems like this will be Crimson Guard centric again, which I can get behind. Have seen mixed reviews but I have high hopes the good quality continues!

Here we go! Moving on to my next indie epic fantasy series and it’s one with all sorts of rave reviews. I am rather pumped to be reading this and enjoyed the first few chapters. Decided to go with this instead of The Fall first which seems a polarizing choice.

Well, I’m back at Sun Eater after a little break. I wasn’t a big fan of Empire of Silence due to its meandering plot and weak ending with no payoffs. I wasn’t going to continue the series until a lot of people I trust were talking about how much better this is. We shall see…
