Back at it in the Dresden-verse! Really excited to see where Butcher takes this series after Dead Beat earned my first 5 star rating for the series. Love the start already!

End of Part Two. Wow, what an end to that section… really not sure how this will all end now that a huge battle took place that I thought might be the end, except for another 350+ pages left.

End of Part One. Great start with a lot of fun developments in the calm before the storm. It’s going to be fascinating to see how this all unfolds.

End of Day Nine… just floored by the developments during this penultimate day… I feel like something has got to shift here for the better, although if Steven Erikson was writing this half the cast would be dead by now haha. Have my theories going forward and my heart breaks for a certain Windrunner. On to the final day!

I’m back in Darujhistan and couldn’t be happier! After the stellar Stonewielder, I am encouraged by ICE’s improved writing and look forward to finally reading the events only hinted at after Toll the Hounds in the Book of the Fallen. Kruppe!
