I’m not sure I agree with Mr. Loewen’s assessment in Chapter 7, that social class is the primary factor driving inequality among the people. To be sure, it definitely plays a significant role, but the chapter fails to account for individual accountability/responsibility-I think it misses the fact that there are quite a number of people who have raised themselves up out of financial straits they were born into.
