What unique premise!

I love the witty banter between the couple. Too bad the hero's brother didn't inherit any of his brains. That guy's an idiot!

Now she has the Earl playing matchmaker. 😅

Kitty is a cutthroat fortune hunter and I'm strangely rooting for her

400 pages down, 80 more to go. 😞😴

Stopping on chapter 18. This story is so boring

Part 3. Still waiting for the romance to happen

The second half of the book is a huge improvement

These two have terrible timing. Everytime they are about to have sex they get interrupted by something.

Eww! He's trying to seduce the h at a brothel after just spending an evening with another prostitute. Yuck!

Instant lust with the enemy. The h is moving way too fast for a girl from 1857. Their whole
interaction feels forced

Stopping chapter 15. This story is getting boring

Stopping on chspter 4, page 54

I don't like the matchmaking grandparents.

I STILL can't get into this story. The pacing is killing me

I'm having trouble getting into this story

The moment of truth? Will Annabel marry the idiot? If not, where does a runaway bride hide while on a boat in the middle of the Atlantic? Awkward!

I really enjoying this book

We finally get to the daughter's story. I don't think this is a romance

This is a long backstory. I wasn't expecting to learn all about how the h's parents fell in love

I never thought I'd say this about a RC book, but I'm so bored

Stopping on Chapter 8

I hope the whole book isn't one giant road trip. Not my favorite trope

This plot never evolves into anything. It just the same repetitive agreements between the MC. It's exhausting!!!

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. The h doesn't seem to be able to communicate with the H by any way but yelling. This could get annoying fast!

6 year old Missy is the best character
