It is definitely slow going with this book. Not only am I extremely tired, but I have to read carefully in order to understand all the macroeconomics and finance that is covered. Still, holy crap, this book is making me angry with how the conservatives have turned the economic progress of the 50’s, 60’s, and early 70’s upside down to benefit the top 1%!

This one isn't a quick read, that's for sure, but it's confirming some things that I had thought about the economic status in politics.

This was an impulse buy on BookBub, and I am so glad it was. This book has surprised me from the beginning. I'm definitely heavily invested in the two MCs, David and Kit, both who which have to struggle with their own problems.

Fantastic start! I didn’t think I would enjoy a book about Hugh D’Ambray so much!

Learning some very informative things.

Damn, I was reading this as a library book, and within 20 pages, knew I had to buy the revised edition for myself. I have learned a lot in those 23 pages, and it's been fun to read. The author has written this at laypeople's level and with a dose of humor. I can see why Science Friday had recommended it.

I'm going to have to take a little break. Noah's clueless bubblings are getting to me. They are starting to seem foolish, and I think if I stop reading for a short time, I can get back into it.

I need a well written book with characters I like after the last book I read.
