Finally getting back to this book. Struck by the quote from Frankl in it (one of my fav theorist!) “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.". Such an important thing for all of us to know and remember!

it’s so fun reading this book when you’re from the area it takes place in. like they’re talking about the glass flowers at the harvard museum of natural history and i’m like hey!!! i’ve been there!!! i’ve seen those glass flowers!!!

this book is so good!! i can’t even properly explain the way it makes me feel!! i just feel so seen in the little ways the author shows what it’s like to be a girl and to be a woman.
