wait i want to say this before i forget…but i love how this book points out how we are all unreliable narrators…will touch on this more in my full review once i finish. (not me acting like a full on critic when i have like 4friends on here)

forgot to update my progress from yesterday. i really like this book so far! i don’t think i’ve ever read anything like it before

Kya and Tate are playing this game where they try and catch the leaves before they hit the ground and it almost made me cry bc it made me remember how i used to do that at my old daycare when i was around 4/5

I feel bad that Kya got a bit of warmth from her Pa just to get it ripped away from her :(

finally getting the chance to read after working all week - and i have to say…this book is going on a direction i 100% wasn’t expecting it to take. like what???

Such a good book - even better than Gone Girl. Can’t wait to rewatch the TV series after finishing
