keep forgetting to update! i'm on milton's side now; PL has converted me. he's so brilliant it's hard to manage!! there are truly so few works that tackle a villain's anguish, resentment, and grief this effectively, and with such sympathy and depth. i am thoroughly impressed; i feel unbelievably lucky to have such a profoundly knowledgeable and adept professor to walk me through it.

there's a quote about god too long to include here. it has reduced me to overwhelming tears in a way few works about christ have. while this is not an explicitly christian text, this quote has validated a fear so deep-seated i had barely even considered it. i feel that my world has shifted, in a sense. WOW lol !!!!!!
