#SmokyIsBack - I'm a bit torn when it comes to Sarah's "interludes": on the one hand they're super intense but on the other hand I feel like they're interrupting the flow of the story... Also: WHY IS THIS SO FUCKING PAINFUL AGAIN?

Listening to this for the second time already and it's still blowing my mind

Good thriller as usual and I liked the little "supernatural" touch and that the story was not as Amish-focussed as in the other books in this series

Oooh, sexy time XD

Once again this was hilarious even though it got a bit too ridiculous in the end

I love how dark this story has become over the past chapters

The investigation hasn't even really started yet but there's already been so much pain D:

I'm REALLY enjoying this so far, especially the weird characters and the interesting setting

This was a zombie story how I like them: Not just dumb nonstop action and pointless splatter but an interesting plot, believable worldbuilding and relatable characters. Definitely going to read the sequels, too!

So far this feels like reading a Diviners story by Libba Bray which is a pretty good sign, I think

This was just like every other possession story with all the typical elements that I've already seen in dozens of horror movies - with the difference that all the other possession stories had more exciting endings...

#SmokyIsBack - I'm so excited to meet Smoky Barrett again, I hope I'm going to enjoy this book as much as I did the first time I've read it!

Maybe I would be excited for the ending now hadn't the book itself already spoiled it...

I'm waiting for the moment when Mom snaps and punches everyone who believes in all that mumbo jumbo :D

Marjorie is definitely creepy but what I find waaaay more terrifying is the idea of having a tv show crew in my house 24/7 filming everything that I do or say D:

"I am humanity." Nice to meet you, humanity. I am "not happy with the ending".

It's always good when the MC turns out to be a bookish person, especially when it's right at the beginning

I really like the worldbuilding because it feels so realistic and the author paid a lot of attention to little details and now that there's even some kind of mystery I'm really enjoying it

Somehow I still don't feel any wiser than at the end of book 2 and I doubt this will change over the last pages…?

Mankind, I guess it's safe to say that this virus thing was a stupid idea…
