Excellent book with often overlooked insights into much more than just interviewing. For interviewers, this should be a must read, and the concepts should be put into your documented interview process (if you don't have one, this will help you create one). (See also the book "Who".)

Some of the questions are really helpful. They should be changed to fit each context, yet they provide the base insight that is easily tweaked. Very helpful! The book continues to be insightful in a critical and often overlooked area of interviewing.

Excellent insights into Emotional Intelligence. It's applied to interviewing very well, yet also applies to much more. Great sample interview questions which I'll incorporate into my own interviewing framework starting tomorrow!

To early to say much, but scanning through gave me positive impressions. These are often missed and critical parts of interviewing and life in general. I hope it's as good as it looks.

Strong content. Could use better writing, especially in the order of the presentation. In spite of that, the content is so good, I highly recommend it.

Fascinating, fun and insightful. The back-story to many successes without taking away from the clear intelligence of those who succeeded. The path is often year after year pushing on something about which one had high motivation.

Excellent book about a critical and frequently missed concept. Softer skills are big part, but competency is also a huge part... Stephen appropriately emphasizes the trust that competency brings. Smartly, he distinguishes between two kinds of trust. I can't recall his exact labels (probably better than mind), but I've called these trust in judgement and trust in motive. Both are critical.

Around 25%, the author finally got to some of the core points. While the writing style lacks, the book concepts are EXCELLENT! They are not detailed, therefore one may look for more, but they are well backed up by examples (unfortunately, not always in a good order.. e.g. the first 20% of the book has many anecdotes that would have been more helpful once we had some core process overview).

Intuition tells me this is going to be good, but the author has still not described the framework of lean startup. Lots of credibility building and showing why it's needed. A little disappointing but I look forward to learning it

Into Chapter 3... Eric has only delved into great concepts at a general level... From my other studying in lean/agile, I understand much of the generalities. But he really should "get to it". He's doing LOTS of establishing credibility, and framing of many issues rather than getting to the point. I'm sure he will get to the real meat, but he hasn't yet.
