The treatments for Alzheimer's is surprisingly interesting to read about.

Movement and memory. Great stuff

The chapter on nociception (pain), proprioception (sense of self), the vestibular system (sense of balance), and movement is super interesting.

I’m just reading the preface, but Oliver Sack’s writing is so beautiful. Great prose. Eloquent

Sexual behaviour in rat. Sometimes the author says "males" "male brains" "male rats", "men", "women". He doesn't distinguish between the species and it gets a bit confusing whether he's referring to male rats, or male humans, or males in any species (unlikely).

I find it odd that scientists and science literature keep using rat experiments in the context of human behaviour. I'm not sure how sexuality translates to human sexuality, specifically as referenced in this chapter on the difference between male and female behaviour. I guess we will just know a lot about the effect of everything on rats.

Chapter 6's obesity, anorexia and bullimia were not very interesting. Other than anorexia and prefrontal cortex and dopamine stuff. Can't remember exactly.

Finished the part on obesity. Now reading about anorexia and bullimia. Kind of depressing to be honest.
