I am finding that reading propels forward and that I gain good ground in my reading sessions. However, constant hurdles and danger are too fake and oppressive, like we would criticize of the "Hardy Boys". I want an oceanic novel, not a shoot-em-up movie. Anyhow, it is an early step in Clive Cussler's enduring series named for his Son.

I look forward to the years when Clive Cussler wasn't sexist and chauvanistic. I have heard that this gets a lot better. In the meantime, let's see if I can get swept up in this underwater mystery puzzle.

This is written well by Cassandra Eason but I think my interest in past lives is lower than that of other people. I took ages to believe in it, even though it immediately made sense that we choose to be here and what our life goal is. In pondering why reading this became a slog, I figured out that besides having low interest, Cassandra's chapters have a formula that sounds identical no matter what the contents are.

Sad but approached with great storytelling skill and humur. An easily commendable five stars from me.

I'm not a Duran Duran nut or fan and didn't know them right away. But I was just old enough to get into music in 1984 and enjoy hits of the recent years. From 1985 - 1990, I knew everything that came out in music and many of the films and TV shows. Memorable for me are the stories of "A View To A Kill" by Duran Duran and "Some Like It Hot" by The Power Station! They are still two of my favourite songs of all time!

It is fun to learn the backgrounds of Duran Duran's colourful videos. I am surprised at how early Andy Taylor married, the wife he still has today. It is great to know whence their odd band name comes, which is a character in an old film. I will find that page and name it in my review as a refresher. Rowdiness and substance excess dwindled or Andy's reference to it. Them meeting Robert Palmer was special for me.

I am interested in Andy Taylor's story which he tells well, sympathetically since childhood. I am surprised by how fast he, John Taylor, Roger Taylor, Nick Rhodes, Simon LeBon gained success. I am worn out by their use of alcohol, drugs, and women at only page 78 and year 1.

Two hilarious jokes: Nick Bates changed his name because Andy called him "Master Bates"! Keith Richards already looked craggy faced in 1985?

I am juggle reading for the first time. I like the way my interest continues in each book, by taking a break if my engagement with one of them wanes. Instead of slogging through one, I enjoy both of them. Andy Taylor's personal story intersperses nicely with Cassandra Eason's past life attunement tips; an unlikely pairing at which Andy would surely laugh. I'm sorry to hear that this talented Dad of 4 has cancer.

This is an enjoyable story as I thought it would be, well written and engagingly, personally told. As a popular figure even in Canada, I am surprised by what I didn't know, such as Bill & his Mom losing their Dad before his birth. How sad and hard for them. Thank goodness he had wonderful Grandparents to help them. They loved his stepdad through disheartening ups & down of alcoholism, for which I have compassion.

A fine book with a lot of inspiring information and advice. We can try these creative suggestions out at home and everywhere we go.

Cassandra Eason is very special. I am glad to dive into the 2 books I bought about 18 years ago and acquaint her. Since she is Scottish instead of American, I have to say again what a pleasure it is to read words like "colour" spelled fully with their "U"! People don't know how often Canadian brains settle for styles that aren't ours: not calling the last meal "supper", casual shoes "runners", or "icing" on cake.

Loving every word and learning important things every page of the way.
