Also the book changed my mind in this last part. Wow. Stormlight Archive slowly shifting back into gears :)

And at least more enjoyable than most of Oathbringer ^^
Just one question: Were through all of this is Jasnah? Where are all the other characters Sando took ages to implement in book 2 & 3? Why does it seem that it would be against the plot of they'd actually appear? (:

Well I'll take it, even if it felt a bit rushed and not built up, still good to have at least something happening ^^

Phew, a Twist I kind of saw coming tbh (even if I normally don't try to figure such things out), but the implications are reeeeally cool!
I have to emphasize: This Shadesmar Part is WAY better than the one in Oathbringer!

Okay, Shadesmar feels more interesting here than in Oathbringer. That's at least one plus so far.
Let's see if it can also stay interesting, bc I get the slight feeling we won't leave it for quite some time😅😅

Okay, so the weak slow parts in Rythm of War so far are better than these in Oathbringer were.
Now let's just see if the strong climaxes can deliver in the same way, but I'm kind of sceptic on that so far...

The Syl-Interlude literally was the best chapter in the book so far.
Can I have a Spin-Off maybe? :)))

As for part 1: Well... Didn't really get me invested, but some cool Lore and Cosmere Implications.
Also generally nice to see some of these Characters again :)
It just lacks any narrative urgency so far imo...

This series from entry to entry just doesn't head into any direction I want to see trust the process I guess. Journey before Destination!

There are scenes in here, that have no right to be as beautiful and touching as they are.
Oh my god is Hobb good.
The sheer relieve of a simple: "So *that* is Nighteyes!" by the fool. Shivers.
Absolutely beautiful scenes and dialogues.
Really can't see the controversy around this so far. So good.
