If there didn't occur a Sanderson-esk shift in the "god-status" at that killing of Kresimir in book 1, I will "eat a broomstick" (as we say in germany ^^) !
Adamat Chapters:
Someone seems to get the Back-Seat in the book again, right? I feel like the part that he had to play in BOTH books, is too short to keep up with the other POVs. Which is sad, since his ending was really satisfying the last time!

At some points in a Robin Hobb book, there are these moments of realization, where your jaw just drops out of absolutely no where. Just because you realize, how incredible this woman writes her characters.
The level of understanding of the human psyche at play here is ABSURD. Like I can't even try to describe it!
And wow, her romance & sex scenes. Damn that's the good kind of steamy, even for me haha
