Predictable and slightly boring! Very unrealistic. The author has not represented very well how people actually behave under stress and operation, and has rather given an exaggerated account of a dystopian story.

Criticism without a solution is merely an inflation of the critic's ego.

When you ask a question and there is no response, then that is the answer.

The Sequencing Question -

There are always many tasks that need to be done, but the order in which they are carried out is a crucial consideration. In situations where solving a problem requires a deeper understanding of it, the first step should be to build an infrastructure for gathering more information—rather than clinging prematurely to any single solution. E.g.. Odd even scheme to solve the popution problem.

Good people do not argue.

Virtuous people perform their part;
But those without Virtue require others to fulfill their obligations.

The wise work without recognition;
They do not try to show their knowledge.

Life is flexible;
Death is stiff.

Because you do not compete,
You will not have competition.

The wise do not attempt anything very big,
And thus achieve greatness.
In the universe, great acts are made up of small deeds.

Because the wise always confront difficulties,
They never experience them.

It is hard to focus on strategic decision-making when the infrastructure is not present to resolve elementary problems swiftly. And where the foundation is not strong, solving elementary problems becomes difficult and advanced problems impossible.

The problem of choice should be imposed on the person who stands to gain the most from the choice. Only he is incentivized to put in the manpower to find the best choice.

The master does not try to be powerful
Thus he is truly powerful.

The nature is not in a hurry, yet everything gets done.
