Hilarious at the end of the day chapter 5 when Will asks Gilan why he can’t just shoot the enemy, and Horace and Will tag team against Gilan to hear him say the opposite of what he was trying to say.

What he wanted Will to know: can’t shoot the enemy with the bow because it’s broken, can’t jump off a cliff, you must fight.
