Sorry the plot picked up but I don’t think I like the authors writing style. It’s all inner monologue or explanation very little interaction with people or conversation. She woke up covered in blood with 3 dead people and still it’s all inner dialect

I’m pretty bored. I’m hoping things pick up soon

The author's writing style drives me crazy. Its very staccato and feels like sentences are missing ( jumps around). Also her descriptions of people are where for instance: persimmon hair, toasted almond skin, mocha colored hair
