Inferiority complexes do not make good plot conflicts, and every single narrator has it 😤.
Not to mention it’s really hard to enjoy a book when you can’t root for any of the “protagonists.” Because you were made to like all of them, and then they were pitted against each other. In a bad way. Because they’re unlike themselves now and you no longer like any of them.
