Very interesting to get an insider look at how some products and software at apple were designed. The unique process of demos instead of brainstorm meetings is incredible. With this could be implemented in agencies.

The book talks about what made Apple successful and the culture behind which Steve Jobs was known for. In terms, i loved the behind the scenes of the book on how stuff was made from a software engineering perspective in accordance to the use old programming like C. Auto correct and the how the Apple Keyword was made was my favorite. FYI, i’m ahead of you amor🫶🏻

I've been ignoring the Witcher series and chugging through these "behind the scenes at Apple" books lately. Once I'm done with Creative Selection, I will most likely hop back in to reading fantasy books again. Overall, it hasn't been such a bad idea to switch gears every once in a while.

I'm enjoying this look behind the curtain of the Apple development process, but as someone who works in tech, some of the detailed extended metaphors about bakeries, grocery stores, and instructions that explain how programming works are a bit basic for me.

Neat peak behind the curtain of Apple's development process. I like how crucial a role taste and good judgment plays... there's just no substitute for it in product development.

I think it’s going to be just what I was looking for.
It does make me wish I’d had chance to meet and work with Steve Jobs.

The chapters are longer thank they should. They are not long in general but their interesting parts could take much much less papers. This is making the book boring

What impresses me most in this book is Apple engineers' "taste" in software development.

As someone who had to type “Fingilish” (using English alphabet to write Farsi) for years before a Persian keyboard became available on iOS, I’m constantly flinching at the design process.
Yet, enjoyable and I’m excited to see its journey to production.

Hmmm, chapter one seemed to have been written for a different audience than the rest.
Going to finish it with one eye closed.

Some non fiction books are painful to finish and this chapter suggests that the author has some ideas he would like to poorly summarize.

What, did Apple have nobody around from the MacWrite days? Kidding. The html composing for mail is something I never think about, so that’s cool.
