She’s asking me about fate yanking people apart, and I can’t help but wonder if this is fate’s way of doing exactly that.

I’ve read the note at least sixty-seven times, and it still gives me a secret thrill. I glance around the classroom, checking to see if it’s contagious, as if the rest of the class should be able to feel the jolt this one little note gives me.

I've been trying to not read while listening to the audiobook but I fear if I don't it'll take me months to finish a book. My attention span is literally at a 0 after work ;( But I really am enjoying this book!!!
