Status Updates From Akhenaten

Would I normally read about an Egyptian pharaoh? Almost certainly not. But this author is highly recommended by the librarian who runs my bookclub. She describes her as a rockstar of Australian literature (although she suggests that El Dorado would be the best starting point). This will be the first verse novel I’ve ever read.
