Amanda could easily be one of my favorite characters this year.

I'm enjoying this a lot so far. I like how Meredith Russo conveys a lot of information, but subtly so it isn't overwhelming. I'm able to absorb and understand and flow with the story.

Not far in, and it's already brought me to tears ✌

First read of 2017!!

i love when books mention bands and things I like. So far it's Sandman and I do like quite a few songs by the Knife.

Just started and was immediately drawn into the novel- last time I checked I was on page 30!

I'm SO disappointed with this character the more I read. argh.

I feel like the "falling-in-love / getting-to-know-you" process a bit too cliche. I wished the author could've done something better and different.

Ah, I do not love high school settings. Many flashbacks.
I'm not loving the tone/mood of this narrative.
Lol, also like everyone is being so nice to Amanda on her first day. Seems fake.

The romance does feel a bit rushed tbh. Though it's been awhile since I've been this invested in a book so quickly...
