Status Updates From Plenilune

Finally finished, I am so relieved I might just pour myself a drink to celebrate!

Soooo much (unnecessary) angst! Ugh.

I'm sure he said he doesn't have healing powers when she had broken ribs! Why can he mend injuries now?! I wish I could make myself quit this book...

Really starting to hate Margaret. She is so full of herself!

So many descriptions of clothing. I really don't need to read all these details! This book could easily have been 250 pages shorter!

I hoped I would like Dammerung, but I am utterly unimpressed so far. It's all such a slog too! Hate to DNF anything, but I've lost my interest :(

I still find it interesting, but it's soooo slow and descriptive.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Jennifer Freitag uses the same method I do for coming up with minor (and sometimes major) character/location names as I do: modify a name from another book, and if anyone calls you on it, claim it was a reference.

No one ever gets any sleep in this novel, it seems.

Let's see if I can keep track of all the names in this book a little better this time around.

This is starting to make some sense. It's like a gothic war novel on another planet with animal-like-humans. It's a fight for the "throne."

Can't wait for the midpoint. Loving the strong atmospheric vibes--it's just perfect for autumn.

Freitag's descriptions are breathtakingly beautiful.
