Status Updates From The Divine Comedy I: Hell

I’ve put off reading this book for a long time out of fear it wouldn’t live up to the expectations I held for it, thus far these fears have been proved completely false. I am only 5 cantos in and am wildly impressed with the style of Dante and the story structure. I can’t wait for this one!

I enjoy the fact of my reading Dante's Inferno more than I enjoy actually reading Dante's Inferno. It is a sense of fulfillment rather than an engaging activity I am experiencing here, an intellectual achievement and actualization of self rather than an entertainment to be doing this.
