Three chapters off the end of this now, I genuinely can't wait to find out how things turn out. It's all been so beauteously laid out for a big battle that I want to rush to the end, but I'm also going to be sad when it ends and I have to wait for a sequel!

Angela Townsend had managed to take all my favourite concepts from mythology and package them in a totally new way that's such a delight to read. I am entranced by this story and I'm going to need a sequel, like NOW!

This journey just keeps getting more and more exciting. It's a really well-crafted blend of so many mythological elements and the discoveries Angus is making keep getting more intriguing.

What an interesting and fast paced plot! The characters I didn't like have gone out of the story and the one I really REALLY liked has just come back in, so this book is bringing endless joy right now! What an excellent read!

Listening to the audiobook version of this and loving it so far. I find Angus very endearing and the supporting cast of characters are so well painted! Looking forward to seeing how the plot picks up from here on in.
