Angela J. Townsend is a filmmaker and a traditionally published, award-winning author of gothic horror. Angela is a proud member of the Author's Guild in NYC. Angela is represented by the former Vice President of Paramount pictures, M. Kenneth Suddleson. She has a motion picture, the Forlorned based on one of her books and many others coming soon.

In 2018 Angela won a noteable trademark lawsuit over her book title, The Forlorned. The person who sued Angela is a convicted child sex offender who had filed dozens of malicious and frivolous lawsuits against other innocent parties. The case ended up in the US Supreme Court, and winning freed Angela from years of harassment from what the press is calling "Trademark Trolls."

The best thing is my readers and fans of my motion picture. You are very important to me and I love you all.
Being a writer allows me to live my dreams. From the time I was old enough to understand what a book was--I've always wanted to be an author. There is nothing better. Reading a book is a major investment and I always keep my fans in mind as I write. Authors need support in order to gain success. Thank you for supporting my books. Happy reading!

The novel is a very atmosphereic gothic horror novel involving more ghosts connected to the lighthouse island. I'm having fun researching the project and interviewing historians. I love stories that are not only spooky but also connected to the sea. I hope fans of my books will enjoy it as much as I loved writing this spine chiller! (less)

FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE

Everyone who is close to me knows I am a fighter. I will never give up the fight for justice against my stalker and for those he causes grievous harm. Hurt someone I love–and I will use every legal resource to make sure punitive justice is served cold.

Stalking affects millions of people each year. Studies vary but most agree 20 percent of North Americans are stalked sometime during their lif

“I was a struggling single mom when my novel, The Forlorned, became a motion picture. I thought my life had turned around for the better until a convicted child molester sued me for trademark infringement over the word FORLORNED.
